Android 4.4 KitKat now seeding to Nexus 4 and Moto X users

Android 4.4 KitKat firmware update for Google's Nexus 4 and Motorola Moto X has been officially released and is seeding to it's all owners globally.

As expected, Android 4.4 KitKat brings a lot of improvements in Moto X in which some of them includes - revamped dialer, camera and gallery applications, new Hangouts application and as well as support for color emojis.



Changes also includes a new and clearer UI (not modified) and thus brings the same experience as Nexus 5.

As always, to update your Moto X to Android 4.4 KitKat go to settings and check for updates (or) wait for that sweet update notification to pop-up on your screen.

Nexus 4

After few weeks of wait at last Android 4.4 KitKat is now seeding to Nexus 4 users with build number KRT16S, which includes a few additional bugfixes introduced with the original KRT16O build.

Update size for Nexus 4 sizes 238 MB, there are still plenty of users waiting for the OTA notification to show up on their devices, so you may have to wait until the end of the day before the update starts seeding in your area.



Android 4.4 KitKat adds the new Google Hangouts instant chat interface, automatic caller ID from nearby businesses, as well as the new ART runtime, which is poised to drastically reduce app start times and improve battery performance.

Motorola Moto X4 alleged specifications leaked on GFXBench

Motorola Moto X4 is in rumors for quite a long time now, various renders, images and specifications has been leaked online but this specific spec sheet spotted on GFXBench is lesser than what is rumored about Moto X4. The Moto X4 was rumored to have 13MP Rear and 16MP Front cameras but in the spec sheet, it shows 11MP Rear and 15MP Front facing camera (the quality of the camera doesn't seem compromised though). ( Spec sheet spotted on GFXBench ) Also, the Moto X4 was rumored to be running on 4Gigabytes of RAM but there's only 3Gigs of RAM detected by the GFXBench. Still, we have seen a lot of benchmarks gone wrong a lot of times. So, we cannot confirm this spec sheet to be 100% true for the coming Moto X4 from Lenovo in the coming days. Apple iPhone 8 back panel image leaked

There's only two month left for the iPhone 8 to be released officially by Apple on it's 10th Anniversary in the month of September. As usual, iPhone 8 has been going through a lot of rumors but now there's a leak from an insider showing off the iPhone 8's back panel. As we can observe, the back panel is made of glass with oval shape cut out for placement of camera. Apple's logo is in it's usual place. Going by the leaked back panel, there's no chance of fingerprint sensor being placed in the back panel as claimed by previous rumors. Also, Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to feature a 3D face recognition to unlock the handset.
