Android 4.4.3 now rolling out to all Google Play Editions

There were many other companies to roll out Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for their devices line-up among which T-Mobile is the first to do so for it's Nexus 4,5,7 line-up and then it all started spreading from Motorola to all other handset manufacturers. OnePlus One to go on sale by end of May ahead of schedule

The OnePlus community just some hours ago updated their production schedule and guess what ?? The OnePlus One team has officially announced that their device will be on sale by end of the month May or early June. They decided to do this seeing the anxiety of people of wanting it earlier or just as close as get their hands on the device but However, 100 people with invitation from SmashThePast will be receiving the OnePlusOne a bit earlier. Android 4.4.2 KitKat now seeding to Sony Xperia Z1 globally

Are you a Sony Xperia Z1 user ? Well, Sony has just officially released Android 4.4.2 KitKat for it and seeding it to all users globally. The software update has been noted as 14.3.A.0.681 and in addition the update brings some updated apps to the device. One among the updated apps is - Camera app with improved shooting experience and better pictures. The update also includes an updated E-mail app but Sony hasn't detail on what more has been improved. Android 4.4.2 KitKat now seeding to Dual-SIM Moto G version

Motorola Mobility has officially started seeding Android 4.4.2 KitKat to Dual-SIM version of Moto G in Malaysia with soon expectation to hit India in few days and it weighs about 230MB. Just as same as the other versions, this firmware update brings Project Svelte optimizations, new Dialer app, updated Hangouts with SMS/MMS support, updated Google Now and the latest version of Google's Photo gallery with Auto Awesome feature. Android 4.4 KitKat now seeding to Motorola Droid Mini, Ultra and Maxx

Just some few days Verizon started pulling Android 4.4 KitKat to it's Droid Mini, Ultra and Maxx customers and now Motorola has started seeding Android 4.4 KitKat firmware update to it's all users of Droid Mini, Ultra and Maxx. This firmware update for Droid Mini, Ultra and Maxx brings camera improvement, better power management. However, the overall visual interface remains almost identical to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The firmware update also allows it's users to access the immersive mode and also adds Firbit support along with updated version of Droid Zap. It also fixes some known and unknown bugs and errors and improves overall stability of the device. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now seeding to Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra

Sony has officially started seeding Android 4.3 Jelly bean to it's Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra but the Android 4.4 KitKat is said to arrive as soon as possible. The updates brings all the changes that Google brought with this version but with extra enhancements from Sony. Google has been working on a new update which fixes the bugs and errors in the KitKat firmware and is now released to HTC One, LG G Pad 8.3 GPE as Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Microsoft is considering Windows Phone and Windows RT for free to device makers

Microsoft has been experiencing a low market share in all global markets against Android and iOS but now Microsoft is considering Windows Phone and Windows RT versions for free to device makers to come-up and give it's OS market share for smartphone's a boost. According to sources familiar with this matter, free future versions are under serious consideration by OS Chief Terry Myerson. The plans aren’t fully set in stone, but they’re part of broader changes Myerson is planning for the future of Windows. Microsoft is currently planning and developing future updates, including a "Threshold" update that’s designed to bring back the Start menu and provide more flexibility for desktop users. Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 price drops off to $170

Samsung officially launched it's Galaxy Note 3 on Verizon in the US early last month with price tag of $300 on 2-year contract but now with Black Friday, the price of Galaxy Note 3 has been dropped to $170 for new Verizon accounts. However, the $170 price comes from Amazon and doesn’t seem to be a part of the retailer's Black Friday promotions (meaning it should be available even after today). This price is for new Verizon accounts. For upgrader's , they will need to pay more $30 (i.e., $200 ) on 2 -year contract. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also available from Verizon's own website for $200. Sprint expanded it's 4G LTE services to 45 new markets

Sprint yesterday has officially announced that it's going to expand it's 4G LTE coverage to 45 new markets in order to provide an enhanced experience to it's customers. Nokia Lumia 1020 has been again price slashed to $99.99 in United States. This photography beast is now available for new AT&T customers on a two-year contract. This deal is currently offered by Amazon and existing AT&T customers who renew their contracts will be offered the Nokia Lumia 1020 for $149.99.
