MediaTek to bring LTE and Cortex-A15 big.LITTLE at CES

MediaTek has been working effortless and quickly establishing it's market in powering smartphones, Tablets globally. Now it has all prepared itself and will be bringing Cortex-A15 big.LITTLE and LTE processors running on actual devices and MediaTek's true Octa-core processor will be running on one of the devices at CES.

One of the key components is the MT6290 modem. Built on a 28nm process, the modem supports LTE Cat. 4, meaning it can achieve downlink speeds of up to 150Mbps. This chipset is compatible with MediaTek's current application processors, so integrating it into new products should be easy.

The MT8135 will also be at the trade show – a big.LITTLE processor with two Cortex-A7s and two Cortex-A15s and a PowerVR Series 6 GPU (same generation as the iPhone 5s GPU). This chipset was announced back in July.

MediaTek announced that there will also be the smallest chipset which will be used for wearable devices. MediaTek also announced that there will also be products for Home automation, indoor positioning and Qi wireless charging.

Motorola announces Moto E4 and E4 Plus in India, to go on sale tonight

After a long campaign to promote Moto E4 and E4 Plus in India with #PowerPlus hashtag. Motorola has finally taken the next step and launched it's two smartphones - Moto E4 and E4 Plus in Indian market for Rs. 8,499 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. The Moto E4 will be offline only device, while the Moto E4 Plus will be exclusively available only on Flipkart starting from tonight 23:59. Microsoft maybe working on Superman selfie and affordable high-end Tesla smartphone

Microsoft is rumoured to be working on two different smartphones which are said to be a selfie focus smartphone and the other affordable high-end smartphone code named as Superman and Tesla respectively. We may see it released officially in coming month. Fortunately, there has been leaked specifications of Superman selfie which stated it to have 5 MP Front snapper and an un-usual 6.5 MP Rear camera. Though video resolution hasn't been mentioned, it's expected to be a 720P on both front and rear.
