MediaTek to bring LTE and Cortex-A15 big.LITTLE at CES

MediaTek has been working effortless and quickly establishing it's market in powering smartphones, Tablets globally. Now it has all prepared itself and will be bringing Cortex-A15 big.LITTLE and LTE processors running on actual devices and MediaTek's true Octa-core processor will be running on one of the devices at CES. One of the key components is the MT6290 modem. Built on a 28nm process, the modem supports LTE Cat. 4, meaning it can achieve downlink speeds of up to 150Mbps. This chipset is compatible with MediaTek's current application processors, so integrating it into new products should be easy. The MT8135 will also be at the trade show – a big.LITTLE processor with two Cortex-A7s and two Cortex-A15s and a PowerVR Series 6 GPU (same generation as the iPhone 5s GPU). Samsung to bring more powerful Exynos-powered gadgets on Jan 7th

As the CES event gets closer, Samsung has prepared all itself and teased that it will be bringing more powerful Exynos-powered gadgets this coming year. Windows Phone 8.1 Blue Update to bring On-screen nav buttons

From the notorious Evleaks leaked image (a bit like information) showed us that the new Windows Phone 8.1 Blue update will bring the On-screen nav buttons. Currently, the three-buttons combo of Back, Windows (Home) and Search keys aren't part of the user interface, like they have been on many Androids since Ice Cream Sandwich, but below the screen in either hardware or capacitive touch buttons. evleaks ' tweet suggests Microsoft will bring change that will either go for software navigation keys or diversify the portfolio of Windows Phone devices giving OEMs the choice between hardware and virtual buttons. HTC to bring Android 4.4 Update for HTC One in US within 90 days

Today morning, Google has made Android 4.4 KitKat all official along with the most leaked Nexus 5 running it out of the box for now. But Jason Mackenzie, the president of HTC America announced that it will be updating it's carrier locked version of HTC One to Android 4.4 within 90 days in North America. While, for other models it has been listed as follows : - Unlocked and developer edition of HTC One will be receiving Andriod 4.4 in 30 days. - The Google Edition will be getting it in just 15 days. Nokia Amber update to bring Bluetooth 4.0 support for Lumia 520, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720

Nokia' forthcoming Amber update for it's Lumia 520, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 will reportedly bring support for Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth low energy devices (Bluetooth smart). This news was officially shared by Nokia at a bloggers event in Hong Kong and was first reported by Blogjackphone.com. The website also reported that the update will also enhance sharpness of pictures in Lumia 920. The blog also shared before and after photos taken through Lumia 920 smartphone prior to the update and after it's deployment.
