SteamOS will be available for download on December 13th

Valve announced that they will be shipping a prototype Steam machine to it's 300 lucky fans on December 13th which includes a powerful upgradable chassis, steam controller and the Linus-based SteamOS. The rest of the fans will get a consolation price.

However, Valve will also make SteamOS available to all users for download and give it a try when the prototypes ship.

While the company suggests that the new operating system won't necessarily be easy to install — "unless you're an intrepid Linux hacker already, we're going to recommend that you wait until later in 2014 to try it out," says Valve.

The company also said that the lucky 300 winners will be notified via E-mail's later today at around 5PM EST (3:30 AM IST). If you are not one of them then you are a month away from Valve's grand reveal at CES 2014. The company will unveil next year's commercial Steam Machines on January 6th.

Motorola Moto X4 alleged specifications leaked on GFXBench

Motorola Moto X4 is in rumors for quite a long time now, various renders, images and specifications has been leaked online but this specific spec sheet spotted on GFXBench is lesser than what is rumored about Moto X4. The Moto X4 was rumored to have 13MP Rear and 16MP Front cameras but in the spec sheet, it shows 11MP Rear and 15MP Front facing camera (the quality of the camera doesn't seem compromised though). ( Spec sheet spotted on GFXBench ) Also, the Moto X4 was rumored to be running on 4Gigabytes of RAM but there's only 3Gigs of RAM detected by the GFXBench. Still, we have seen a lot of benchmarks gone wrong a lot of times. So, we cannot confirm this spec sheet to be 100% true for the coming Moto X4 from Lenovo in the coming days. Apple iPhone 8 back panel image leaked

There's only two month left for the iPhone 8 to be released officially by Apple on it's 10th Anniversary in the month of September. As usual, iPhone 8 has been going through a lot of rumors but now there's a leak from an insider showing off the iPhone 8's back panel. As we can observe, the back panel is made of glass with oval shape cut out for placement of camera. Apple's logo is in it's usual place. Going by the leaked back panel, there's no chance of fingerprint sensor being placed in the back panel as claimed by previous rumors. Also, Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to feature a 3D face recognition to unlock the handset.
