Motorola Moto G officially announced with 720p display for $179

Motorola at an event today officially announced it's latest flagship Moto G - a mid range smartphone and also known as little brother of Moto X bring the same experience at lower price of $179.






















Motorola Moto X features 4.5 inch 720p (HD) display covered with Gorilla Glass 3, powered by Snapdragon 400 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 5 MP Rear camera capable of 720p video recording with LED flash, 1.3 MP Front facing camera for video calls, 1,950 mAh battery and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with guaranteed upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat.



The Motorola Moto G comes with an attractive $179 price tag for the 8GB version, while the 16GB variant costs $20 more. The phone launches today in Brazil and parts of Europe and will also be available in a dual-SIM variant. Motorola plans to launch the phone in a total of 30 countries, including the US and on 60 different carriers by the beginning of 2014.

The back of the Moto G is removable and Motorola provides a variety of colored backs including black, white, dark and light blue, pink, yellow and red. Other accessories include flip covers and colored protective cases in addition to JBL wireless speakers.

It will be available in the US, India, the Middle East and more of Asia in early January. Moto G will be in more than 30 countries with 60 partners by 2014.

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.
