From the latest press conference held by KT Corporation, formely known as Korea Telecom we got to know (confirmed) that the Samsung's upcoming awaited Galaxy Note III will be powered by Snapdragon 800 chipset.
The network provider is the first to officially acknowledge the Note III's innards reconfirming that the phablet will offer the powerful quad-core chip.
As we already know, Samsung will be launching two different variants of Galaxy Note III - one with Snapdragon 800 and the other with Exynos 5 Octa core processor but some sources familiar with this matter said that Samsung is currently facing some issue with it.
Recently, there's also been reports that Samsung will also be launching a cheaper Note III with 8 MP rear camera and LCD screen for emerging markets, such as India.
Samsung Galaxy Note III will be officially unveiled by Samsung on September 4th in Berlin.
