Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom officially announced - Specifications

Today on June 12, 2013 Samsung Electronics co. officially announced their Galaxy S4 Zoom.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom is a powerful smartphone with enhanced photo capturing capabilities. Galaxy S4 Zoom is another part of the S4 family announced by Samsung today at London. Samsung clams it to full-fill the role of both an industry leading smartphone and a high-end compact camera.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is powered by 1.5 Ghz Dual-Core processor (* The selection of AP will differ by markets), 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED screen with resolution of 960x540, 16 MP Rear Camera with x10 Optical zoom with enhanced SMART modes, 1.9 MP Front facing camera, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB internal storage (User memory 5GB and expandable up-to 64 GB via MicroSD card slot), 2,330 mAh battery. It runs on Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean.



Regarding connectivity, it has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS + GLONASS, 3G and LTE support. For sensors, it has Accelerometer, Geomagnetic, Proximity, Gyro, RGB light. It already has Google mobile services in it, such as Chrome, Google Maps, Gmail, Google search, Google Plus, Google Play store, Youtube, Google Talk, Google Play Movie & TV, Google Play books, Google Play Music and Google play Magazine.

It's Dimensions are 125.5 x 63.5 x 15.4 mm and it weights 208g (with standard battery).

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to be a barrier to success for iPhone 8 launch

As the days close in for the Apple iPhone 8 launch, there are various leaks, rumors coming in from all around the internet but then there's Samsung.
