Qualcomm chipset manufacturer has been dominating MediaTek in the US with it's latest additions of SoC but now MediaTek is trying to take the lead by working on a 64-bit, High-resolution and LTE supported octa-core chipset called MT6795. However, both Qualcomm and MediaTek owns mobile market in US partially. With this latest chipset, MediaTek wants the smartphone line-up to be affordable yet powerful. By High-res support, MediaTek means to bring 2K support for this new chipset (same as the one in LG G3 and more devices..). MediaTek already owns the Budget line-up successfully but with this MT6795, it hopes to push that more further to High-end smartphones. MT6795 uses ARM Cortex-A53, 64-bit cores clocked at upto 2.2 GHz each, LTE support on-board, 480 framer per-second, 120Hz display support, 1080p slow-motion capture and playback. The MediaTek's Mohit Bhushan says that Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset is just over designed. Source Let Us know What you think ...
