Nokia HERE is coming to Android and iOS

Maybe you know it or you don't but it's true Nokia is planning to bring it's most loved service to world's largest Mobile Operating systems - Android and iOS. This report spread like fire when Nokia posted two job listings for experienced developer in Android and iOS.

Seeing this job postings, there's a possibility that Nokia will indeed bring the Nokia HERE service to both Android and iOS platforms.

The first job posting was :

"As an Android / iOS developer you will be a key member of our growing mobile engineering team, developing industry-leading mobile SDKs / applications. This is an experienced position that requires fluency in the latest Java capabilities and improvements in the Android and iOS SDK. The ideal candidate is motivated to explore and deliver the best possible solutions to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience shipping one or more Android / iOS apps, currently on Google Play / Apple Store. You should have a strong passion for technology as evidenced by your personal projects that demonstrate your aptitude for superior engineering and strong customer-centric product sense. You should enjoy working outside the comfort zone and love to learn new technologies. The position will be based in Berlin / Frankfurt and will report to the Tem lead Development team Mobile SDKs for Business, HERE platform for Business."



There is also a second job posting listed :

"We are now looking for a Mobile App Developer (Android) to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for :

  • Working directly with developers, product management and UX Design to conceptualize, build, test and deliver mobile products.
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.
  • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects.
  • Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
  • Working with the front and developers to build the interface with focus on usability features.
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
  • Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders."

As you can read from the above job listings, Nokia seem to be serious about bringing the HERE maps service to the Android / iOS platforms. This is smart move to increase their usability of Apps and as the more users they are able to get invested in their services.

Karbonn officially announced Titanium X and is expected to be priced for Rs. 20,000 (approx.)

Karbonn, Indian smartphone manufacturer has announced it's latest flagship Titanium X in order to compete with it's rival Micromax's Canvas Turbo.



Karbonn Titanium full Specifications are yet to be shown but from this image displayed on Karbonn's official websites we can point out that Titanium X will be featuring 5 inch FULL HD display, 13 MP Rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5 MP Front facing camera, powered by 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor, NFC technology, 2,300 mAh battery and the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

For RAM, it has not been specified but soon we will be seeing it listed on Indian leading Online shopping websites, such as - Flipkart, Snapdeal, Saholic etc.,

Karbonn Titanium X will soon go for sale and it's pricing is still to be confirmed but we expect it to be priced for Rs. 20,000 (approx.).

HTC One Mini coming soon to UK and will be costing £380 (Rs. 34,408)

UK carries like O2 has tweeted on 18th July teasing the "HTC One Mini coming to O2 soon" and didn't revealed any more further details on it.

UK will be first to get HTC One Mini in August and later globally in September. Online retail websites like Carphone warehouse and Mobile Fun listed it already showing availability next month. Caphone warehouse listed it for £380 and Mobile Fun for €445 which work outs to be as same as in British pounds.

As well as Vodafone has too put up a blog post promising HTC One Mini availability in next month though there's no pricing information from them.

EE will be also one of the carries of HTC One Mini and it will allows it to flex it's 4G LTE muscles. Besides, EE too didn't revealed any information to pricing and launch date.
