Samsung officially announces Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1

At MWC14 Samsung failed to announce it's Tab 4 series which everyone expected to make it's debut there but Samsung decided it to hold for sometime and now officially launched Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 but haven't announced pricing details for them.

Samsung has announced that these devices will go on sale by Q2 of this year (i.e April, May or June) globally in Black and White color options.

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features 7 inch display with resolution of 1280x800p, powered by Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM, 3MP Rear camera and 1.3 MP Front facing camera and 8/16GB internal storage expandable up-to 32GB on 3G/Wi-Fi and up-to 64GB in LTE.

The 7.0 version runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 for connectivity support. This variant will be available in two different versions of LTE and Wi-Fi only. The tab weights 276grams

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features 8 inch display with the same resolution, powered by same processor, RAM, cameras and internal storage but this variant has a better battery of 4,450 mAh. This device weights more 44grams than the 7.0 variant.

For connectivity too this device has same features and same availability of versions (i.e Wi-Fi and LTE) and same color options to choose from. It also runs on the same Android 4.4 KitKat.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Specifications

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 too retains the same resolution of display but with larger in size (i.e 10.1 inches) and also powered by similar processor, RAM, cameras, same amount of internal storage, has a more power battery of 6,800 mAh.

The availability of options, colors and storage to choose from and same as the 7.0 and 8.0 this variant too has the same connectivity support but Unfortunately this 10.1 version weights 487grams.

As the hardware specifications doesn't vary much, these devices should be close to each other in pricing state and as Samsung said these devices should be up for sale by Q2 of this year (i.e April, May or June).

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.

As usual, to update your Vibe Z to Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware just navigate to Settings>About Phone>Software Updates> Check for Updates and see if you got the update waiting for your there.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to be a barrier to success for iPhone 8 launch

As the days close in for the Apple iPhone 8 launch, there are various leaks, rumors coming in from all around the internet but then there's Samsung.

The famous leaker Evan Blass talks about Galaxy Note 8 to be launching later this year in the month of September to be a barrier to success for iPhone 8 launch in the same month. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be only launched in the second half of September month.
