OnePlus officially launches One for $299 : A 2014 flagships killer

The smartphone which has been in rumor land for more than a month and received numerous leaks, Tech talks and possibly sort of every promotion from different websites has been finally revealed by the company OnePlus.

This OnePlus flagship One is their first smartphone with high-end specifications and the cheapest price possible (i.e $299) running on Android based Cyanogenmod with lots of usability kept in mind while developing it.



The OnePlus One offers latest specifications from popular manufacturers with price tag of $299 for 16GB and $349 for 64GB and available in Silk White and SandStone Black and starts it's sales from Q2 (May) of this year (i.e next month).

OnePlus One features 5.5 inch FHD display with 401 PPI, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB LP-DDR3 RAM, 16/64GB internal storage and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat based CyanogenMod 11S.



On rear, it's equipped with 13MP (Sony EXMOR IMX 214) with Dual LED flash capable of 4K video recording and 720p at Slow motion capped at 120fps and the under the panel it has 3,100 mAh Li-Po battery. On front, it has 5MP Distortion free camera.


Regarding connectivity, it supports - LTE, GSM, WCDMA, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, micro-USB 2.0, Single Micro-SIM card slot and 3.5mm audio jack.

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.

As usual, to update your Vibe Z to Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware just navigate to Settings>About Phone>Software Updates> Check for Updates and see if you got the update waiting for your there.
