Samsung has officially released Android 4.4 KitKat to it's Galaxy S4 LTE-A (which is based on Snapdragon 800 processor), users in Korea. The Update is available via both Kies and OTA (over-the-air).
This new firmware update is said to improve Galaxy S4 LTE-A performance, better RAM management, improved touchWiz UI and much more.
As the Korean Galaxy S4 LTE-A got the Android 4.4 KitKat treatment. We expect the global versions to get this firmware update as soon as possible. As usual, to update your Galaxy S4 LTE-A to latest firmware navigate to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Check for updates.
