Sony announces Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1

Sony has yesterday announced two new Android powered smartphones called Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1 (both available in Single and Dual SIM versions). Sony has also stated in their press release that Xperia T2 Ultra would be priced less than €400 and Xperia E1 for less than €175.

Still Sony hasn't come up with any specific date for it's launch but we expect it to be available by end of  next month but we can expect Sony to announce exact date next month at MWC.

Xperia T2 Ultra

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra features 6 inch HD TRILUMINOS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, 1GB of RAM, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, 13 MP Rear camera with Exmor RS for mobile.

On front, it's equipped with 1.1 MP Exmor R camera and for storage it has in-built memory of 8GB with further expandable microSD card slot up-to 32GB. Under the back panel, it contains 3,000 mAh battery.

Regarding connectivity, it supports - 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, DLNA, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Hotspot, GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.

As mentioned above, this device will be available in two variants - Single SIM and Dual-SIM with Black, White and Purple colors to choose from.

Xperia E1

As per the price, the Sony Xperia E1 is a budget Android smartphone featuring 4 inch WVGA display, powered by dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage with further expansion microSD card slot, 4 MP Rear camera capable of capturing HDR pictures.

Regarding Connectivity, it supports - GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Hotspot, 3.5mm audio jack and GLONASS.

This device will also be available in Black, White and Purple and available in both Single SIM and Dual-SIM variants.

  1. Both the phones of Sony are really awesome. Between Xperia t2 and E1 i like T2 more. Both the phones are budget friendly. Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has much bigger display, 13 mega pixel camera and a nice battery backup.

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.

As usual, to update your Vibe Z to Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware just navigate to Settings>About Phone>Software Updates> Check for Updates and see if you got the update waiting for your there.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to be a barrier to success for iPhone 8 launch
