Acer launched Liquid S2 - the world's first 4K capable smartphone

As IFA 2013 gets closer to it's date, Acer has launched it's Liquid S2 - the world's first 4K video recording capable smartphone just few hours ago.

Acer Liquid S2 sports a 6 inch FULL HD IPS display (368ppi) covering it with Gorilla Glass 3, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor clocked @ 2.2 GHz with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage (expandable up-to 128 GB via MicroSD card slot), 13 MP Rear camera with 28mm wide-angle lens and a back-side illuminated sensor.

On front, it comes with 2 MP Ultra-wide 88-degree 24 mm BSI sensor capable of recording FULL HD videos. Under back-panel lies a 3,300 mAh battery. Speaking of which the Acer Liquid S2 can capture 4K UHD (Ultra HD) video along with high-framerate Full HD (60 fps) and slow motion video.

There's a panorama mode that produces up to 27 MP shots, quick first shot lets you capture an image straight off the unlock screen.

The Acer Liquid S2 footprint measures 166 x 86 mm and the phablet is 8.99mm thick. There's 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi ac/a/b/g/n as well as the usual connectivity goodies - 3G and GPS.

The Acer Liquid S2 will launch at the end of October across Europe, but there's no word on specific countries availability or price just yet.

Motorola has finally taken the next step and launched it's two smartphones - Moto E4 and E4 Plus in Indian market for Rs. 8,499 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. Moto G5 Plus set to launch today in India exclusively on Flipkart for under Rs. 25,000

Motorola (Lenovo owned) an Flipkart have been teasing about Moto G5 Plus release past weeks and finally it's set to launch today on air at 12:00 this noon. Moto G5 Plus is expected to be available on Flipkart exclusively as soon after the launch event for purchase and expected price is between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000. The Moto G5 and G5 Plus were already displayed at MWC by Lenovo. Apple iPhone 8 back panel image leaked

There's only two month left for the iPhone 8 to be released officially by Apple on it's 10th Anniversary in the month of September. As usual, iPhone 8 has been going through a lot of rumors but now there's a leak from an insider showing off the iPhone 8's back panel. As we can observe, the back panel is made of glass with oval shape cut out for placement of camera. Apple's logo is in it's usual place. Going by the leaked back panel, there's no chance of fingerprint sensor being placed in the back panel as claimed by previous rumors. Also, Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to feature a 3D face recognition to unlock the handset.
