Samsung's Executive Vice President Lee Young-hee officially confirmed in an interview with Koreatimes that it's all set to launch it's first "smartwatch" and "Galaxy Note III" on Samsung UNPACKED event scheduled on September 4th in Berlin just few days before IFA consumer electronics fair event.
According to the report from Koreatimes, Lee Young-hee an Executive Vice President of Samsung Mobile business said that the smartwatch named "Galaxy Gear" will be launched on September 4th which will not be having flexible display.
“We will be introducing a new wearable concept device called Galaxy Gear at our own event in Berlin on Sept. 4,” Lee said.
“The Gear won’t have a flexible display. The new device will enhance and enrich the current smart mobile experience in many ways. It will lead a new trend in smart mobile communications. We are confident that the Gear will add meaningful momentum to the mobile industry,” Lee added.
The Executive also confirmed that Galaxy Note III will make it's debut internationally at IFA but she declined to comment further about specific details about it.
As far as Specifications are concerned for Galaxy Note III, we have seen a lot of leaks about it. It's expected to sport a 5.68-inch FULL HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display, powered by quad-core Snapdragon 800 or Octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable), 13-megapixel Rear camera, 3,200mAh battery.
It will be running on latest Android OS - Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and it will also include an S Pen and will start it's shipping in September.
