Xolo Play T1000 powered by Tegra 3 launched for Rs. 15,999 ($270 appx.)

Last week Xolo began it's pre-booking for Play T1000 aiming it for hardcore gaming experience. Play T1000 is now officially launched by Lava packing High-end specifications in it.

Vishal Sehgal co-founder and director at Lava International said at launch, “As XOLO continues to be a differentiated player in the fast-growing smartphone market in India, the XOLO Play T1000 delivers outstanding performance and exceptional visual content. It offers quick, responsive and visually stunning game play, fast web-browsing and enhanced multi-tasking performance. Powered by NVIDIA Tegra’s unique 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with an additional battery saver core and 12-core GPU, XOLO Play T1000 is a comprehensive entertainment powerhouse.”

Xolo Play T1000 features a 4.7 inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280x720p, powered by 1.5 Ghz Quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 12 core NVIDIA ULP GeForce clocked at 416 Mhz, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB internal storage (expandable upto 32 GB via MicroSD card slot).

On back, there's 8 MP Rear camera with Digital zoom capable of recording FULL HD videos and 2 MP Front facing camera capable of recording HD videos. It contains 2,000 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Regarding connectivity, it has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, MicroUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi hotspot, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. It also features a couple of sensors, such as - Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient and Magnetometer.

  1. Looks interesting.. 2GB RAM and a larger capacity battery is all I would say maybe could've done with upgrading. Possible 1080 screen too..

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.

As usual, to update your Vibe Z to Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware just navigate to Settings>About Phone>Software Updates> Check for Updates and see if you got the update waiting for your there.
