Nokia Asha 501 available to purchase for Rs. 5,199 ($86.25)

Nokia Asha 501 which was launched by Stephen Elop in New Delhi on Thursady (09/05/2013) is now available to purchase on both online stores and retailers for Rs. 5,199 ($86.25).

At launch of Asha 501 in New Delhi Stephen Elop said, "India is very important. It is the bellwether market that is very leading indicator of some of the trend. It is very symbolic that we are not launching this from certain other countries, from Finland, London or the US. We are launching it here in India because so much of our work is focussed on Indian consumers."

Asha 501 has a 3 inch Display with QVGA resolution of 320x240p, running on Nokia's own Asha OS, 3.2 MP Rear camera capable of video recording @15fps with 3x Digital Zoom, 64 MB internal storage (expandable upto 32 GB via MicroSD card slot) and 1,200 mAh battery.

Regarding connectivity it has, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, MicroUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3.55 mm audio jack.

Motorola has finally taken the next step and launched it's two smartphones - Moto E4 and E4 Plus in Indian market for Rs. 8,499 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. Moto G5 Plus set to launch today in India exclusively on Flipkart for under Rs. 25,000

Motorola (Lenovo owned) an Flipkart have been teasing about Moto G5 Plus release past weeks and finally it's set to launch today on air at 12:00 this noon. Moto G5 Plus is expected to be available on Flipkart exclusively as soon after the launch event for purchase and expected price is between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000. The Moto G5 and G5 Plus were already displayed at MWC by Lenovo. Apple iPhone 8 back panel image leaked

There's only two month left for the iPhone 8 to be released officially by Apple on it's 10th Anniversary in the month of September. As usual, iPhone 8 has been going through a lot of rumors but now there's a leak from an insider showing off the iPhone 8's back panel. As we can observe, the back panel is made of glass with oval shape cut out for placement of camera. Apple's logo is in it's usual place. Going by the leaked back panel, there's no chance of fingerprint sensor being placed in the back panel as claimed by previous rumors. Also, Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to feature a 3D face recognition to unlock the handset.
