Sony Xperia ZR to launch in India soon, already available for Pre-order at Rs. 29,990 ($513.61)

Sony Xperia ZR is expected to be launched in 3rd week of June 2013. Xperia ZR is available in Pink, White and Black for pre-order on Flipkart.com for Rs. 29,990 ($513.61).

As Sony Xperia ZR is water resistant (a dust resistant too), it can take amazing pictures underwater too without any picture quality compromise. Xperia ZR is water resistant up-to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and the special thing about ZR is that the user can captures photos even from Locked screen.

The Xperia ZR has a 4.6 inch HD Mobile BRAVIA display with HD resolution of 1280x720p, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core clocked at Speed of 1.5 Ghz processor with 4G LTE, Adreno 320 GPU, 13 MP Rear Camera (FULL HD) with HDR video and Exmor RS for capturing perfect videos and photos in any condition, 2 GB of RAM with 8 GB ROM, internal storage not mentioned but it's expandable upto 32 GB via MicroSD card slot, 2,300 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia ZR runs on Android Version 4.1 Jelly Bean. Regarding connectivity, it has GPRS (107 kbps), EDGE (296 kbps), 3G (5.8 Mbps HSUPA), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro USB v2, Wi-Fi hotspot, Single SIM slot and 3.5 mm audio jack.

For sensors, it has Gyroscope, Ambinet Light, Proximity, eCompass, Accelerometer and Magnetometer.

Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) is getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update

Looks like the worlds largest PC manufacturer is picking up the speed and focusing on the Smartphone markets because users of Lenovo Vibe Z (K910L) in Malaysia has reported getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for their device.



The update is rolled out OTA (Over-the-air) sizes massive amount of 1.2 GB fixing all kind of bugs, errors and obviously improving performance and stability of the device and maybe Lenovo also have thrown-in some of it's features from Motorola's recent acquisition.
