Lenovo launched K900 smartphone powered by Intel processor for Rs. 32,999 ($584.88)

Lenovo launched six smartphones today in which one of them is K900 powered by Intel processor in Indian market aiming to become one of the largest smartphone vendors in the country.

The other five models excluding K900 were S820, S920, P780, A706 and A390 with price between Rs 8,689($154.01) to Rs 32,999 ($584.88).

Amar Babu managing director at Lenovo India said, "Our retail footprint has grown considerably to 3000 retail stores since we launched our smartphones last year. We will continue to expand our reach across India."

Lenovo K900 is powered by Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor clocked at 2Ghz with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with FULL HD resolution of 1920x1080, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage (expandable upto 32 GB via MicroSD card slot), 13 MP Rear Camera with Auto focus and LED flash, 2 MP Front Camera, 2,500 mAh battery. This smartphone runs on Android Version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Regarding connectivity, it has Bluetooth A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, MicroUSB 2.0, GPRS and EDGE. For sensors, it has Accelerometer, proximity, compass sensors.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to be a barrier to success for iPhone 8 launch

As the days close in for the Apple iPhone 8 launch, there are various leaks, rumors coming in from all around the internet but then there's Samsung.

The famous leaker Evan Blass talks about Galaxy Note 8 to be launching later this year in the month of September to be a barrier to success for iPhone 8 launch in the same month. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be only launched in the second half of September month.

Why so pricey? Well, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are already priced at 799 and 899 Euros respectively. So, this kinda makes sense for the Galaxy Note 8 to be a bit pricey than the S8. The Galaxy Note 8 will have even more higher specs than the S8 duo's.

Mahindra launched E20 in Nepal for Rs. 13.72 lakhs

Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles has launched e2o, its all electric zero emission car in Nepal. Agni Energy, the official distributor of Mahindra Vehicles in Nepal will retail the electric car from their showroom in Kathmandu. Mahindra e2o is priced at NPR 2.25 million (around INR 13.72 lakhs).

Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Chairman Pawan Goenka at the launch said that electric vehicles have been emerging as an alternative to petrol or diesel driven vehicles. "With the Mahindra e2o, we have taken the lead not only in creating a comprehensive ecosystem to nurture sustainable mobility solutions, but have also firmly placed a choice in the hands of our customers," he said.
