Google+ will now choose your "Best" Photographs.

"New features mean Google can automatically enhance and select your ‘best’ photographs", the company has announced.

At the Google I/O Conference in San Francisco, Vic Gundotra said that as most users upload all there photos to Google+, mostly because of auto uploads from their Android phones it had become essential to highlight the best images.

New technology allows Google to search for family members, people smiling and famous landmarks, while also filtering out images that are duplicates or blurred. Mr Gundotra showed his own photo albums, with Google showing the best few dozen images from a selection of 600 photos of New Zealand.

Since going through the entire album can take hours the new feature called "Auto-Highlight" makes it easier to spot the best photos. Gundotra wrote on the Google Blog,"Auto Highlight helps you find your favorites faster by de-emphasizing duplicates, blurry images and poor exposures, and focusing instead on pictures with the people you care about, landmarks, and other positive attributes."
