Microsoft is rumoured to be working on two different smartphones which are said to be a selfie focus smartphone and the other affordable high-end smartphone code named as Superman and Tesla respectively. We may see it released officially in coming month. Fortunately, there has been leaked specifications of Superman selfie which stated it to have 5 MP Front snapper and an un-usual 6.5 MP Rear camera. Though video resolution hasn't been mentioned, it's expected to be a 720P on both front and rear. Superman is to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz, featuring 4.7 inch 720P display, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable) and it's said to have LTE support and juiced up by 2,200 mAh battery. Acer has yesterday come -up with a tease image stating that " In 4 days, Acer will reveal must-have new products. Take a sneak peek. #MWC14 #AcerLiquid #smartphone ." This suggests that Acer is coming up with a smartphone called Liquid. From the image we see the smartphone will have LED flash and a button just below the camera which we believe it to be used to capture images (or) record images. By the statement of Acer, we get to know that it will not be releasing only one smartphone but instead will be releasing some "must-have new products" at MWC14. By the must have products, does means to release a smartwatch too ? Yes, you heard it right. We can expect Acer to unveil a smartwatch too there. A new image has come up online showing off it's Tizen OS power on the device. To us this Tizen device looks almost identical and similar in design with all Samsung's all other devices. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung ZEQ 9000 is rumored to feature 4.8 inch WXGA display with resolution of 1280x720, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor. Though this one isn't a official confirmation from Samsung, the SC-03F model to look at the U.S. FCC certification of the product horizontal and vertical standards which are 136.1 x 69.1mm which is slightly smaller than the Galaxy S4. Xolo, one of the popular smartphone manufacturer of India is stepping up and preparing itself to launch 4G LTE enabled smartphone in India, a first of it's kind from manufacturer. Xolo's first 4G LTE enabled smartphone has been dubbed as LT900 and is expected to be announced by first week of November. GSMArena also received an alleged image from an anonymous tipster claiming it to be Xolo's upcoming 4G LTE device. This press rendered image reveals the design and confirms presence of dual-LED flash and 4G connectivity. In addition to these, LT900 will be coming with 4.3 inch HD IPS OGS display with 341ppi, powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 processor and 8 MP Rear camera with BSI sensor. LG is the first major manufacturer to premier Firefox OS handset and has officially launched it's first Firefox OS smartphone dubbed as LG Fireweb and Firefox OS could be considered still in its infancy but as bigger OEMs hop on the train it could gain traction faster than expected. The LG Fire web featured 4 inch HVGA display with resolution of 480 x320p, powered by Single-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 4 GB internal storage (expand able via MicroSD card slot), 5 MP Rear camera with LED flash. The device has gone on sale on Brazilian carrier Vivo's network. Back in June, MediaTek was the first to announce a chipset with first true Octa-Core processor and now a Chinese Mobile company UMI has officially unveiled the world's first True Octa-Core processor at Autumn Edition of Hong Kong Electronics. All of UMI's smartphones are intended to be sold only in China, so you must have never heard of it before. UMI X2S smartphone features 5 inch FULL HD display, powered by MediaTek's MT6592 with Octa-Core Cortex A7 processor clocked @ 1.5 GHz with Mali-450, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage (expandable), 13 MP Rear camera with Sony lens and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Since MT6592 is LTE-capable, it's expected to be LTE-enabled as well with NFC technology. The price of UMI X2S from RMB 1,499 ($245) to RMB 1,999 ($327). No specific launch date was announced.

An upcoming entry-level smartphone has been leaked via courtesy of Evleaks named as Galaxy Garda (SGH-T399) and some information provided on GFXBench. Judging by the image, it's heading to T-Mobile in the US, while a specs sheet from GFXBench reveals that you'll be getting a display of 800 x 480 pixels resolution and a 1.4 Ghz processor, although of unspecified screen diagonal or number of cores. The Samsung Garda will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of box, and will also come with a Mali-400 GPU. Not much else is known about the Garda at the mome nt. Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) which provides telecom services under MTS brand, today on June 3rd 2013 launched an Android based smartphone with Dual-SIM capability known as MTS Duet which supports both CDMA and GSM technology. Leonid Musatov Chief Marketing and sales officer of MTS India said,  "The latest in our range of smartphones is MTS Duet. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon S1 processor and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. Aimed at tech-savvy youth, it comes bundled with aggressive high speed data and voice plans." Acer a Taiwanese computing company announced that it's working to launch new devices which will  "reinvent the way computing is looked at" in PCs, tablets and notebooks. With a day ahead of Computex 2013, Acer launched an 8-inch windows 8 tablet Iconia W3 and a 5.7 inch smartphone and the company claims that the tablet will bring desktop to your hands. JT Wang, Chairman and CEO of Acer said,  "Users are becoming smarter and don't need to keep buying new devices. PC makers should understand this and explore beyond our own limits. With the success of Idea's recently launched 3G smartphones, Idea on Tuesday (21st May 2013) launched two more smartphones ID 920 and Aurus III with 3G support for Rs. 4,950 ($89.33) and Rs. 6,990 ($126.15). Both ID 920 and Aurus III are dual SIM phones powered by 1Ghz processor. Idea said, ID 920 is an entry level phone and is aimed to target semi-urban markets. Idea also said that the strategy of the company is to provide 3G supportable smartphones. So far, Idea has sold 3 lakh (and counting) 3G smartphones since it entered the devices market. Tata Group's Infinity Retail, the company behind Croma retail stores, has announced the first Croma branded Android phones in the country. Croma launched two smartphones and a tablet. Croma Smartphone 4.63 inch (CRCB2093) and Croma Smartphone 5.3 inch, the phones have been priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively. Croma 4.63 inch is already available Croma 5.3 will be available in a short while.
