Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear and Gear Fit officially launched in India

Samsung today has officially launched it's latest flagship device Galaxy S5 and two smart-watches Gear Neo, Gear 2 and Gear Fit in India.

While the exact pricing details haven't been announced yet for these gadgets, it's expected to range from Rs. 51,000 to Rs. 53,000 for Galaxy S5, Rs. 21,900 for Gear 2. Whereas the Gear Neo and Gear Fit has been priced at Rs. 15,900.

The Indian variant of Galaxy S5 is powered by Exynos 5 Octa-core chipset (four 1.9GHz Cortex A5 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex A7 cores), features 5.1 inch FHD Super AMOLED display, 16MP UHD Rear camera, 2MP FHD Front facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 2,800 mAh battery, 16/32GB internal storage (expandable up-to 64GB via microSD card slot) and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Regarding Connectivity, it supports - Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 3.0, NFC, IR mode and the device is IP67 certified which means it's both dust and water resistant.


Samsung Gear Fit features 1.84 inch Super AMOLED display (432x128), Bluetooth 4.0, 210 mAh battery and is also IP67 certified. This device also has the Heart Rate sensor, Accelerometer and Gyro sensor. It weights 27g, so it might not be a burden and it's dimensions are 23.4 x 57.4 x 11.95 mm.

Moto G5 Plus set to launch today in India exclusively on Flipkart for under Rs. 25,000

Motorola (Lenovo owned) an Flipkart have been teasing about Moto G5 Plus release past weeks and finally it's set to launch today on air at 12:00 this noon. Moto G5 Plus is expected to be available on Flipkart exclusively as soon after the launch event for purchase and expected price is between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000. Apple iPhone 8 back panel image leaked

There's only two month left for the iPhone 8 to be released officially by Apple on it's 10th Anniversary in the month of September. As usual, iPhone 8 has been going through a lot of rumors but now there's a leak from an insider showing off the iPhone 8's back panel. As we can observe, the back panel is made of glass with oval shape cut out for placement of camera. Apple's logo is in it's usual place. Going by the leaked back panel, there's no chance of fingerprint sensor being placed in the back panel as claimed by previous rumors.
