Recently, Google's most anticipated gadget Google glass is distributed among it's developers to develop and create more applications for it. LG will launch it's latest smartphone Optimus F5 in europe today. This device was unveiled at the 2013 Mobile World Congress. Recently Micromax has claimed that they crossed over 1 million sales in their Canvas series. In Press statement, Mr Shubhodip Pal, CMO, Micromax, said, “The Canvas series has proved to be a trendsetter in Indian smartphone segment. The demand for these devices has been on an upward curve from the time of their launch. It was great to witness consumers wait until 12:00am for their chance to book the Canvas HD on Valentine’s Day selling 9000 units in less than 24 hours.” However, Canvas HD A116 faced major supply issues after it's release. Bharti SoftBank (BSB) said, "It will invest $7 million (Rs 37 crore) in it's messaging application 'Hike'. Messaging application 'Hike' recently crossed 5 million users in just four months after launched on December 12. Nokia Oyj said it won a court injunction that would prevent rival HTC from using microphone components made by STMicroelectronics NV in HTC One phones. The finishing phone maker said in the statement, announcing the decision by Amsterdam District Court that the microphone components were invented by Nokia and manufactured exclusively for Nokia phones. "HTC has no license or authorization from Nokia to use these microphones or the Nokia technologies from which they have been developed," Nokia said.  It said the injunction was effective until March 2014 and would prevent ST Micro from selling the components to Taiwan's HTC globally.  HTC was very disappointed by the decision. According to a report on Googlesystem , It looks like Google now will not be limited for Android, iOS and Chrome users. It will be added to Google's Homepage. Samsung galaxy s4 mini which has attracted a lot of attention in last few months have been delayed till July. However, as fresh report from Sammobile , the Korean smartphone maker has delayed the launch of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini in the Week starting July 15, 2013. The earlier date was set on May 20, 2013. As per rumors, Samsung will launch S4 mini in four variants.  The first will be single SIM phone with a quad core processor and support HSPA+ model no. named as GT-I9190. The second will have Dual SIM with quad core processor which also supports HSPA+ model no. named as GT-I9192. The Korean smartphone-maker will also be releasing Samsung Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9195, which will support LTE The fourth model no. GT-I9198 which will be launched in China and is unlikely not to be launched in other markets.  As far as we know there is no word on what price will be of Samsung galaxy S4 mini and whether it will be launched in India in the future.

  On Friday, Sony tweeted that the Android Jelly Bean update for six smartphone models Xperia - P, Go, S, SL, Acro S and Ion - is in its final stage, not revealing the actual date of the availability. But at the end of the tweet, the company said that more news is expected to come next week, possibly hinting the addition of more smartphones to the Jelly Bean OS club. HTC has launched the Desire L and has even come clean on the exact price details . The phone is sold through Far EasTone , A Telecom Company in Taiwan. As far as we know, there are no plans to bring the handset to markets in other parts of the globe. The HTC Desire L is being sold for $366 for those who prefer to go with Customer agreement deal. Taiwan News says it goes by the nickname ‘Butterfly mini’ and also reports that the manufacturer’s North Asia-Pacific region president, Jack Tong, presented the handset as the company’s latest bet in the mid-range market. It made its debut at the concerned carrier’s concept store in Taipei, Ximending.
