Sony Xperia C launched in India for Rs. 18,799

Sony today has officially launched it's latest phablet Xperia C in India priced for Rs. 18,799 and expects to compete with Samsung's Galaxy Grand.

The new Sony Xperia C boasts Sony's OmniBalance design, first seen in its flagship phone, Xperia Z. It is the first smartphone from the Japanese handset giant in the Indian market to be powered by a MediaTek MTK6589 quad-core processor; clocked at 1.2GHz.

Sony Xperia C sports 5 inch TFT qHD display, powered by MediaTek MTK6589 processor clocked @ 1.2 GHz with IMG SGX544 GPU, 4 GB internal storage (expandable up-to 32 GB via microSD card slot) and 1 GB of RAM.

On back, it has 8 MP Rear camera capable of FULL HD video recording with 4x Digital Zoom and Pulsed LED, 0.3 MP camera on Front capable of HD video recording and 2,330 mAh battery.

It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. 

Regarding connectivity, it supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, A-GPS and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Sony Xperia C is currently listed on all leading Online retailer websites starting from Rs. 18,431 to Rs. 18,799 available in Black, White and Purple colors.
