Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega to get Android 4.4 KitKat

An internal Samsung KNOX document has revealed companies upcoming plans for Android updates for it's smartphones.

The document in question shows a list of devices that are bound to get Samsung's security app pre-installed on them and the Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy Mega are to do so once they get updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.

The document doesn't specify which Galaxy Mega is going to get Android 4.4 KitKat but we expect both 5.8 inch and 6 inch versions will be getting it simultaneously.

The document also revealed that the Galaxy Note 3 also has the KNOX software preinstalled, but it's undoubtedly going to get Android 4.4 KitKat update in the future. On the other side the document also confirms that the Galaxy S4, Note 2 and Galaxy S3 will be getting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Sadly, Galaxy S3 Mini will not be getting any software updates but we hope soon it will be getting an Android update from Samsung as soon as possible.

According to an internal source sent to SamMobile, Samsung KNOX will come pre-installed on all of the above mentioned devices after their upcoming Android updates. Chinese variants of mentioned phones will have a KNOX installer allowing users to install it or leave it.

The documents didn't revealed any information regarding when these devices will be getting their respective updates.
