Mercedes and Germany luxury car-maker launched it's sports sedan E63 AMG pricing Rs. 1.29 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).
Eberhard Kern managing Director and chief executive at Mercedes-Benz India said, "With this launch, we now have a very unique and broad range of product offering in India. We have gone ahead and launched various new products this year. We have been getting a very good response from the customers."
"The launch of the new E 63 AMG further reiterates our promise of bringing fascinating cars and providing a memorable brand experience for customers," Eberhard Kern added.
It's powered by 5.5-litre V8 BITURBO engine with a displacement of 5,461 cc. The eight-cylinder engine develops a peak output of 557 hp at the rate of 5,500 RPM (rotations per minute). The E63 AMG has ability to catch-up speed from Zero to 100 kmph in 4.2 seconds and can attain 250 kmph of speed.
When the talks comes to safety, it comes with eight airbags and an additional pelvis airbags for rear passengers.
