Are you a Sony Xperia Z1 user ? Well, Sony has just officially released Android 4.4.2 KitKat for it and seeding it to all users globally. The software update has been noted as 14.3.A.0.681 and in addition the update brings some updated apps to the device. One among the updated apps is - Camera app with improved shooting experience and better pictures. The update also includes an updated E-mail app but Sony hasn't detail on what more has been improved. So, it's all yours thing to find out. As every update brings fixes, this update brings fixes for various bugs in the device and improves battery life of it. As usual, the update can downloaded and installed by navigating to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Check for Updates. As promised, Motorola said to launch it's latest edition Moto G in India in month of January but back then we didn't have any specific date for it. Now, Motorola officially announced that Moto G will be launched globally on Jan 14th. Other than this treatment, Motorola also said in it's invite to a launch of another new smartphone to it's editions in Europe. For now, there's only a bit of information available on what Motorola might bring on Jan 14th which we guess to be Moto X in Europe as it's only available in US and Brazil but we may be wrong. HTC, continuing it's updates roll out for it's One series smartphones. HTC has now started rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware update for it's HTC One (international variant) globally. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware update brings the following changes in the smartphone as seen below in image. This update lets you disable the controversial BlinkFeed feature if you're not such a big fan of it. This firmware update sizes 675 MB and can be updated via OTA (over-the-a ir). From the recent announcement of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for HTC One Dev Edition and HTC One original, HTC has officially released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean internationally. The Most Long-awaited Amber Update from Nokia has finally started rolling out globally for Windows Phone 8 powered Lumia smartphones. Update is built with WP8 GDR2 update from Microsoft with Nokia's exclusive features in addition to it. Amber Update brings all new camera application - the Smart camera app. This application was launched out of the box for Lumia 925 but now it will be available to all Lumia devices. Some of the high end devices from Nokia, such as - Lumia 920, Lumia 925 and 928 will be getting Pro Camera app which was introduced with Lumia 1020.
