Micromax officially announces it's first KitKat powered device : Canvas Unite 2

Micromax has been appreciated over all India for it's tremendous series of Canvas which offered better specifications with affordable price tag but the only negative point in their devices was NO KITKAT. Micromax Canvas Unite 2 will be available for just Rs. 6,999 ($120) and in four different colors - White, Green, Red and Gray.    Now, Micromax has officially launched a new canvas device named Canvas Unite 2 powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat and surprisingly it's equipped with MediaTek chipset. As far as we know, MediaTek processor was not supported for KitKat till now. The new Canvas Unite 2 features 4.7 inch WVGA display, powered by MediaTek MT6582M Quad-Core chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1Gig of RAM, 4GB internal memory (expandable up-to 32GB via micro-SD card slot), 5MP HD Rear camera with Auto-focus and flash, 2MP Front facing camera for video calls, 2,000 mAh battery and powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It looks life Micromax is getting professional and struggling hard and doing effortless work to gain it's priority among the Indian market. Now coming to the image leaked, this comes from MMXNewscaster who has been known to be accurate almost at all times. If indeed this device in the image comes officially true, then undoubtedly Micromax will become the most successful Indian handset maker here. Recently, scientists teamed-up with Vodafone and have developed a socket type of charging device while you are on walk or when you are sleeping. It generates energy while an average person walks and charges your device for four hours. Along with these shorts scientists have also developed sleeping bags which charge your mobile while you sleep.
