Microsoft up's their game against Sony, launches Xbox One X and Xbox One S

E3 of the year just happened and Microsoft it done with their announcements, among the announcements their latest console launch was their biggest +plus point. Microsoft has up'ed their game against their rival Sony by launched two different variants of the all new console, namely - Xbox One X (also known as Project Scorpio) and Xbox One S which are about to be available for Pre-order later this year starting at $499 . These consoles are first to go sale in US and UK at both retail and eCommerce sites. The Xbox One S seems to be the "mini" version of the original Xbox One X by which Microsoft claims the Xbox One S to be 40% smaller than the Xbox One X (or) Xbox One but storage capacity can be expanded upto 2TB instead of 1TB. Sony rolling Android 7.0 Nougat for Xperia XZ

Sony on Monday announced that it started rolling out Android 7.0 to it's flagship Xperia XZ which comes with triple sensor camera. This update allows the device to have multi-window support, long battery life, a new messaging app enabling users to share videos with ease. The Sony Xperia XZ was launched in September with price tag of Rs. 51,990 but now the price have been slashed to Rs. 48,990. Sony Xperia XZ comes with 5.2 inch Full HD display, 23 MP primary camera, 13 MP secondary camera, 3GB RAM and 64 GB ROM which can be expanded upto 256 GB. Android 4.4.2 KitKat now seeding to Sony Xperia Z1 globally

Are you a Sony Xperia Z1 user ? Well, Sony has just officially released Android 4.4.2 KitKat for it and seeding it to all users globally. The software update has been noted as 14.3.A.0.681 and in addition the update brings some updated apps to the device. One among the updated apps is - Camera app with improved shooting experience and better pictures. The update also includes an updated E-mail app but Sony hasn't detail on what more has been improved. So, it's all yours thing to find out. As every update brings fixes, this update brings fixes for various bugs in the device and improves battery life of it. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean rolling out for Sony Xperia SP

Sony has officially started rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to it's Xperia SP users today. Some users have already received it but today Sony confirmed that Yes! Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is rolling out for Xperia SP. Sony Xperia Z, ZL and ZR gets minimal firmware update

Today, Sony has officially tweeted that users of Sony Xperia Z, ZL and ZR will be receiving a minimal update to their device to improve battery back-up, Bluetooth connectivity issues, Youtube app improvement and some other apps improvements too. Sony announces Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1

Sony has yesterday announced two new Android powered smartphones called Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1 (both available in Single and Dual SIM versions). Sony has also stated in their press release that Xperia T2 Ultra would be priced less than €400 and Xperia E1 for less than €175. Still Sony hasn't come up with any specific date for it's launch but we expect it to be available by end of  next month but we can expect Sony to announce exact date next month at MWC. Sony has just came up officially with it's miniature flagship of Xperia Z1 known as Xperia Z1 Compact at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2104 with better waterproof resistance, small display size but almost same spec sheet as Xperia Z1. Sony PS4 officially announced in India and is up-for pre-order for Rs. 39,990

Sony's press conference confirmed, scheduled for January 6th

As the New Year's Eve gets closer with time and celebration and the of course the CES event, Sony is all set for it's press conference which is scheduled just before a day of CES event on January 7th (i.e Jan 6th). The Sony Press Conference will be held on Jan 6th at LVCC (Las Vegas Convention Centre) starting from 5PM Local Time and will be running up for 45 minutes. Sony has listed a total of 15 device categories, including tablets, netbooks, photography equipment and accessories, e-books, 3D video, portable and high-performance audio. Sony Xperia Z1S live images leaked, coming on November 26

The Sony Xperia Z1S has been in rumor mill and in leaks all around for a month now but now Xperia Z1S has been leaked in live images and smartphone cases for it was also listed online stating release on November 26th. The Xperia Z1S was photographed next to a ruler, which seems to confirm the rumored measurements of 127 x 64.9mm. The device also reports a model number D5503. Other than this, Xperia Z1 S di f fers slightly from leaked press image - specifically in front facing camera and audio jac k. The tipster that took the photo reported that almost everything worked smoothly except for the occasional hiccup in the launcher (but this is early pre-release software). Sony revealed Android 4.4 KitKat firmware upgrade plans

Few days ago, Google has officially unveiled the Nexus 5 along with new Android version 4.4 KitKat and later HTC, Motorola and Sony was the companies to promise Android 4.4 KitKat soon to their flagships. Google has also announced t hat the 4.4 KitKat is designed to scale and automatically fit on the devices with as little as 512 MB of RAM. So, the update might eventually make it to a numerous Xperia devices . Since HTC and Motorola hasn't announced Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade plans for their devices, Sony has made it and announced that the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia tablet Z will be the first in Sony devices to taste Android 4.4 KitKat version. Sony has officially started rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware update to it's Xperia L smartphone. The update is now available through PC companion and sizes 700 MB. Sony to officially unveil Xperia Z1S on November 1st

Few hours ago, Sony has teased and image hinting nothing but just stated November 1st and "All the detail will be revealed" by which we expect Sony to make it's Xperia Z1S and as well as Xperia Taichi officially on November 1st. An official press image of Xperia Z1S leaked recently, although at that point it wasn't sure if it will be the international version of the Z1 f Sony already launched in Japan. Sony Xperia Z1S is expected to feature 4.3 inch HD (720p) display, powered by Snapdragon 800 chipset, 20 MP Rear Camera with G-lens and the Sony Xperia Taich is expected to feature 6 inch HD (720p) display, powered by true Octa-Core MediaTek processor. Sony today has officially launched it's latest phablet Xperia C in India priced for Rs. 18,799 and expects to compete with Samsung's Galaxy Grand. The new Sony Xperia C boasts Sony's OmniBalance design, first seen in its flagship phone, Xperia Z. It is the first smartphone from the Japanese handset giant in the Indian market to be powered by a MediaTek MTK6589 quad-core processor; clocked at 1.2GHz . Sony Xperia Z1 Mini (SO2F) existence confirmed by official NTT DoCoMo documentations

According to Xperia Blog, an alleged leaked documentations belonging to Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo confirmed the existence of Sony Xperia Z1 Mini dubbed as Xperia Z1 F (with some model number as - SO2F). From this documentation it's confirmed that Sony is indeed working on a Mini version of Xperia Z1 and it's far from it's release. The Documentations also revealed specifications of the device which perfectly align with previous leaks of the device. From documents - it will be featuring 4.3 inch FULL HD display, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked @ 2.2 GHz, 20.7 MP Rear camera (same as the Xperia Z1), 2,300 mAh battery and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Sony Xperia Z1 (Honami) prices hit online, $730 in US, €650 in Germany and £564 in UK

Pricing info for the new Sony Xperia Z1 is starting to appear online. Clove UK has the flagship at £564 (including VAT) and notes that the first stock is expected to arrive on September 16. For comparison, the old Xperia Z is £450 . Negri Electronics has priced the Xperia Z1 at $730 and will get it in stock a few days later, on September 20. The Erman press release has prices for the ZZ1 and the various other accessories – the flagship Android phone will cost €650, the availability is a vague "Q3". Unfortunately, we couldn’t find it in any German stores yet. The press release also lists the prices of the accessories showed off yesterday.
