Microsoft has officially announced the much anticipated GDR3 update for its Windows Phone smartphone 8 platform. Its rollout will begin over the coming weeks. Microsoft is still yet to announce it's eligibility for WP powered devices but it's for sure that Nokia devices are on it's line. W P GDR3 update brings support for 5 and 6 inch displays with maxi mum resolution of 1920x1080p and support for Qualcomm 's Snapdragon 800 . Now every horizontal line on the start screen supports 6 Live Tiles, close apps in the task switcher interface by hitting the little X on each app's thumb.
