Nokia today has officially started rolling out an software update v1.4 for it's latest devices in Asha series - Asha 230, 500 , 501, 502 and 503. This software update brings a lot of things to the Asha smartphone which includes improved Camera, support for OneDrive cloud storage, faster Fastlane and parental control. As usual, to update your Asha to software update v1.4 go to Settings> Phone Update. Improved Camera The improved camera has new imaging enhancements and while taking selfie's you need not worry if your face is being shot or not because the Asha will guide you left, right, up or down and take great selfie's in no time. After launching a complete set of devices in Lumia series, Nokia also unveiled couple of Asha smartphones - Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503. All these three devices are successor of Asha 501 but with better specifications and connectivity features. The camera interface has been revamped, including the ability to quickly access the camera directly by swiping up from the lockscreen. You can also swipe left and right to access snapped images and camcorder mode, respectively, and there's also one tap sharing to Facebook. A week ago, Nokia Asha 500 has been seen which should be an upgraded version of Asha 501 with capability of dual-SIM, better designed, support for world's most popular messaging application - WhatsApp. Surprisingly, this Asha 502 looks exactly the same as Asha 500 . However, Asha 502 sports a camera with LED flash which was missing in the Asha 500 leaked image. For now, there's no words about it's specifications except dual-SIM functionality and Wi-Fi support. As far as it's software is concerned, it looks to be refreshed. As we mentioned, Asha 502 will be unveiled on October 22nd at Abu Dhabi along with 6 inch FULL HD Lumia 1520 phablet , Lumia 929 and Windows tablet.
