Micromax's latest flagship Canvas Gold (A300) has been listed for sale on the online retailers website infibeam.com for Rs. 23,999 but still it's not being announced or listed officially by Micromax. This new Canvas Gold features 5.5 inch FHD display, powered by 2GHz Octa-core chipset (probably MediaTek) with 2Gigabytes of RAM, 32 GB internal storage (only 26GB is useable, 25GB for mass storage and 1GB for Apps installation). It's equipped with 16MP FHD Sony Image sensor camera with LED flash and Auto-focus and 5MP HD Front facing camera with Auto-focus. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is juiced up by 2,300 mAh battery. Regarding connectivity, it supports - Dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS and micro-USB 2.0. Here's some exclusive news from our side about Micromax releasing Octa-Core smartphone. What if we say Micromax is planning to release not only one Octa-Core smartphone but two Octa-Core smartphones ?? Yes, it's true and we are reporting this exclusively that our sources said Micromax will be releasing two Octa-Core smartphones dubbed as A300 and A350 . We already know that A350 will be named as Canvas Knight through MMXNewscaster. But what will be the A300 named as ? Will it be a Mini version (or) named something else ? All we could extract from our source was that A300 will have the difference only in Android version running in them and internal storage and nothing else.
