Qualcomm chipset maker launched Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor with built-in LTE

Qualcomm a chipset maker on June 4th, 2013 launched a Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor which features an LTE radio in addition with 3G. Qualcomm targets this chip at emerging markets in smartphones.

With launch of this chip, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 offers integrated 3G and 4G in both Quad-Core and Dual-Core variants. In addition with 3G/4G LTE, the processor integrates key modem features targeting Chinese market and other regions, including TD-SCDMA, HSPA+ (up to 42Mbps), and multi-SIM capabilities.

Cristiano Amon, executive vice president and co-president of mobile and computing products, Qualcomm Technology said, "By offering a multimode 3G/4G LTE variant to Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 tier of processors with quad-core CPUs, we are ensuring that emerging regions are equipped and prepared for the imminent transition to multimode 3G/4G LTE, in addition to being equipped for every major 2G and 3G technology."

He added by saying, "Snapdragon 400 processors provide customers with a wide range of innovative smartphones for both the high-volume and mid-tier segments."

Motorola announces Moto E4 and E4 Plus in India, to go on sale tonight

After a long campaign to promote Moto E4 and E4 Plus in India with #PowerPlus hashtag. Motorola has finally taken the next step and launched it's two smartphones - Moto E4 and E4 Plus in Indian market for Rs. 8,499 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. The Moto E4 will be offline only device, while the Moto E4 Plus will be exclusively available only on Flipkart starting from tonight 23:59. Microsoft maybe working on Superman selfie and affordable high-end Tesla smartphone

Microsoft is rumoured to be working on two different smartphones which are said to be a selfie focus smartphone and the other affordable high-end smartphone code named as Superman and Tesla respectively. We may see it released officially in coming month. Fortunately, there has been leaked specifications of Superman selfie which stated it to have 5 MP Front snapper and an un-usual 6.5 MP Rear camera.
