Qualcomm a chipset maker on June 4th, 2013 launched a Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor which features an LTE radio in addition with 3G. Qualcomm targets this chip at emerging markets in smartphones. With launch of this chip, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 offers integrated 3G and 4G in both Quad-Core and Dual-Core variants. In addition with 3G/4G LTE, the processor integrates key modem features targeting Chinese market and other regions, including TD-SCDMA, HSPA+ (up to 42Mbps), and multi-SIM capabilities.
