Google acquired Divide to make Android more enterprise-friendly

The Divide team which was founded four years ago by former Morgan Stanley and his team to help use Android more effectively and making it a enterprise friendly, means it's built for both personal and work usage. On the website they didn't disclosed any financial details about the deal but only stated that their team is joining with Google and will continue working as it was before but will try developing new solutions that users will love. On website, it said  " The company was founded with a simple mission: Give people the best mobile experience at work. As part of the Android team, we're excited to continue developing solutions that our users love ." From recent reports, Google is already on work with developing enterprise friendly Android and "The Divide team" will play an important role in it now. Beats acquired by Apple for $3.2 Billion

Today, the founders of Beats - actor Tyrese Gibson and Dr. Dre officially announced on the Instagram account that Apple has acquired Beats and it's services for $3.2 Billion. ( Image Credit : redmondpie.com ) Till now, these companies used to be rivalries but now there's a chance that we may see a product from Apple in coming months with Beats Audio enhancements. Apple acquired Beats in order to improve it's sales of iTunes and merge them both for better future. So far, this is the first acquisition done by Apple. This acquisition came to light when there was an initial report of the deal on the internet and later confirmed by the founders of Beats on Instagram. Lenovo acquired Motorola for $2.91 billion

Google was recently rumored to sell of it's previously owned company "Motorola" to the top-notch PC manufacturer Lenovo. Now it's official and confirmed, Lenovo has acquired Motorola license, Trademarks for $2.91 billion for smartphone business with $1.41 billion due at the deal’s closing in cash and ordinary shares, and the remaining $1.5 billion as a three-year promissory note.  Google will retain the Motorola’s massive patent portfolio, including current applications and invention disclosures. Lenovo will acquire about 2,000 patents alongside the Motorola Mobility brand and its trademarks (as said above). Lenovo will receive a license for the remainder of Motorola’s portfolio which will remain at Mountain View.
