OnePlus One gets official stock Android 4.4.4 ROM

The smartphone OnePlus One which has been wanted by everybody but gets to only some of them has been a huge success for the OnePlus community. The device runs on Cyanogen Mod based on AOSP of Android. Today, OnePlus released it's own stock version of Android 4.4.4 based on AOSP for those who wanted to have their OnePlus One device without any Cyanogen Mod customization and features. This ROM is still a work in progress, so when you flash it on your device there might be some problems or errors. There are some known issues with this ROM stated in the forum (see below) : - Gyroscope may not work on all devices - Encryption features and VPN do not work - There may be more which will be updated on the forum and here in this post too. Android 4.4 KitKat ROM for T-Mobile Motorola Moto X available on XDA

Few days ago, Motorola was the first among all companies to announce Android 4.4 KitKat update rollout for it's Moto X smartphone and now developers has already built a ROM for T-Mobile Moto X and made it available for download on XDA for people to try it on. This KitKat ROM was posted yesterday and it seems to be a dump from Developer Edition of Moto X. From people's reports, this ROM is stable enough for work though there are some bugs and features that still have issue s and you should carefully read the full Thread before installing the ROM. Y ou'll need an unlocked bootloader in order to install the KitKat ROM.
