Google Project Ara conference to be held on April 15th and 16th

Google has recently officially announced it's upcoming conference with Project Ara developers which will be held at Mountain view, Califronia and the people who wants to participate in the conference need to pay $100 (only $25 for students). The conference will also be streamed live fore online watchers and Google claims to release an Alpha version of Ara Module Developer Kit (MDK) which will be available for free on the website and open platform specification reference. As always the Developer Kit will guide it's users through it and will help them to get familiar with it. The company wants developers and companies of "all shapes and sizes" to give project Ara a whirl. Google also claims that this device is being made for 5 billion people. Samsung Galaxy S5 with Fingerprint sensor and Heart Rate sensor and a wearable "Gear Fit" officially unveiled

Samsung today at MWC14 has officially unveiled it's most anticipated and the most ever rumored Galaxy S5 device and unexpectedly, Samsung has also unveiled a new wearable called "Gear Fit" with a larger and better display. Now the most interesting things - Samsung Galaxy S5 features finger print scanner to unlock the device and also has the Heart Rate sensor to keep track of our Heart beat and UHD video recording at 30fps. Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL officially announced, coming soon to India - Full Specifications, Pricing and availability

Today Nokia at it's MWC14 event in Barcelona officially unveiled it's most rumored and leaked device powered by Nokia X software platform v 1.0 (yes, not Android but based on it's AOSP). Back then we only heard about was Nokia XL but now Nokia introduced three different smartphones named Nokia X, X+ and XL. Nokia X Full Specifications Nokia X features 4.2 inch IPS LCD WVGA (800x480) display with 233ppi, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (expandable up-to 32Gb via microSD card slot). Huawei announces MediaPad X1 a 7 inch tablet and TalkBand B1 for €399 and €99 respectively

Huawei today at MWC14 has officially launched it's rumored devices - a tablet and a wearable. The tablet is named MediaPad X1 and the wearable is named TalkBand B1. These devices come for €399 and €99 euros respectively. Huawei's MediaPad X1 is the thinnest device till now with 7.18mm thick body beating down Nexus 7 2013's 8.4mm and iPad Mini 2's 7.5mm. The most impressive thing is after having such as thick display it still has a 7 inch FHD display with 323 ppi. For storage, MediaPad X1 has 16GB of in-built memory and supports expandable memory upto 64GB via microSD card slot and has 2GB of RAM for overall best experience. TalkBand B1 features 1.4 inch Flexible OLED screen, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and supports devices running on Android 2.3 or higher and iOS devices running 5.0 or higher. Samsung officially announces Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo

Samsung today has just unveiled their 2nd edition to the Gear smartwatch series named as "Galaxy Gear 2" and "Galaxy Gear 2 Neo" with thinner size and lighter weight than before and the Gear smartwatches run on Tizen OS rather than Android. ( Image : Galaxy Gear 2 on left and Gear 2 Neo on right ) Samsung says, it chose Tizen OS than Android because it give a two day or three day long life battery which is twice than before and the camera is on front rather than behind. The Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo features the same 1.63 inch screen with resolution of 320x320, powered by slightly faster 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 2MP camera and these watches are IP67 certified which means they are dust and water proof with heart rate sensor and IR blaster. Samsung releases a trailer, hints at two different models of Galaxy S5

Samsung has officially released a trailer video hinting at all the possibilities that Galaxy S5 may have. This trailer doesn't hints nothing new but does confirms recent reports and rumors all around the internet. ( Image from : Samsung Trailer ) From the trailer, Samsung confirms that indeed they will be unveiling two different Galaxy S5 models and one of them is said to be called as Galaxy S5 Prime by SPIGEN Casemaker listing on Amazon. The trailer also confirms that the Galaxy S5 will be Water-resistant will be able to survive for longer time under-water and capture videos and images. It means it will be Water-proof but we don't know yet if both models will be water proof (or) one of them. Acer officially launches Liquid E3 and Z4 for €199 and €99 respectively

As Acer promised some days ago on February 17th that it will launch some must have products in four days ago at MWC14. It launched two smartphones named Liquid E3 and Z4 for €199 and €99 respectively. Liquid E3 Specifications Acer Liquid E3 features 4.7 inch HD IPS display, powered by Quad-Core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 13MP Rear camera with Ultra-fast focus, 2MP Front facing camera and it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. For storage, it has 4 Gigabytes of in-built memory with expandable through microSD card slot. Sales for Liquid E3 will start in April, 2014 in Europe for €199 and will be available in White and Black colors. Micromax Canvas Knight A350 Coming to India by end of this month

Micromax has officially posted a video teasing Canavas Knight stating it as "Coming Soon" in it's video and we think this Canvas Knight might just hit for sales by end of this month for Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 23,000. The Canvas Knight was already launched in Russia last month officially by Micromax opening their brand in Russia. Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update confirmed for 14 Samsung Galaxy devices

Samsung has officially confirmed Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for it's 14 Galaxy devices including Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S3 Mini. The users of these devices had almost lost their hope that they will be getting KitKat update. Now, Samsung posted all the names of 14 Galaxy devices (tablets, Notes and smartphones). The firmware update for these all devices has already been started from yesterday (i.e 18th Feb) and has been rolling out out to users in US but soon it will hit to global users. LG releases a trailer video teasing the coming of G3 and G Pro 2

LG has officially posted a trailer video on Youtube teasing the coming of G3 and the G Pro 2 at the MWC14 on Feb 24th. The video posted by LG also gives a glimpse of design of the G3 and the G Pro 2. While we were able to identify the G Pro 2 in video at 0:41 second but the device at 0:34 second is an unknown which we bet and damn sure that it will be G3. The video also teases the coming of few more devices in L series. This all devices will be announced at MWC14 on February 24th in Barcelona, Spain officially by LG at their event. Nokia X a.k.a Normandy sample Photo surfaced online

A new and the first ever Photo sample captured from Nokia X a.k.a Normandy has surfaced online confirming that it will indeed have 5MP Rear camera with LED flash and confirms it. But few weeks ago, on Camspeed application Nokia X was detected with a 3MP camera which we believe that it must have been a prototype in Testing form sent to developers across the world by Nokia. So, there wasn't much information extracted from the EXIF. Acer will announce a Android powered smartphone and smartwatch at MWC 2014

Acer has yesterday come -up with a tease image stating that " In 4 days, Acer will reveal must-have new products. Take a sneak peek. #MWC14 #AcerLiquid #smartphone ." This suggests that Acer is coming up with a smartphone called Liquid. From the image we see the smartphone will have LED flash and a button just below the camera which we believe it to be used to capture images (or) record images. By the statement of Acer, we get to know that it will not be releasing only one smartphone but instead will be releasing some "must-have new products" at MWC14. By the must have products, does means to release a smartwatch too ? Yes, you heard it right. We can expect Acer to unveil a smartwatch too there. Nokia X confirmed by latest Press image

The notorious Evleaks on twitter has posted a press image showing of Nokia X in Green followed by Nokia's Logo on right side. In the press image, Nokia X is in green color which kinda suggests that Nokia X will indeed be running on Google's Android OS with Nokia's own customized UI. We already know key specifications for Nokia X that it will be featuring 4 inch WVGA display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor , 4 GB in-built memory (expandable), dual-SIM card slots, 5MP 720p Rear camera. Recently, there has been reports that Nokia is sending Nokia X to developers in India for testing it thoroughly to find bugs etc., and fix them before it's official launch at Barcelona. HTC D616W Octa-Core smartphone sighted on AnTuTu benchmark database

A month ago we have been hearing about HTC to bring up a smartphone powered by Octa-Core processor and now AnTuTu benchmark database has come up with two different smartphones - one powered by MediaTek's Octa-core chipset and the other powered by Snapdragon 200 processor. Report : Nokia X a.k.a Normandy to cost $110

Nokia X has been in rumors and numerous leaks from long time suggesting it to be unveiled this month at an event scheduled by Nokia on February 24th at Barcelona, Spain. Now the latest report around the internet suggests that the Nokia X will be costing $110 for it's decent enough specifications. Micromax Canvas Power A96 officially unveiled with 4,000 mAh battery

Micromax has officially unveiled it's a not so rumored (or) leaked device except just like a tip from MMXNewscaster saying that Micromax will come-up with a device called Canvas Power A96. As the device name is - it does have a 4,000 mAh battery power for a long standby of 450 hours. Micromax hasn't announced a price for this device yet but it will do sooner or later in few days. The Micromax Canvas A96 features 5 inch FWVGA display, powered by MediaTek 6582M Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and for storage it has 4GB in-built memory with expandable microSD card slot up-to 32GB.
