Android 4.4 Kitkat coming to Micromax's 15 smartphones

Today, MMXNewscaster has come up with a confidential report stating that Micromax is all preparing itself to release Android 4.4 KitKat to it's 15 Canvas series smartphones. New Year KitKat Surprise! The 15 Canvas series smartphones which will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat are - Canvas Turbo, Canvas Doodle 2, Canvas 4, Canvas Magnus, Canvas HD, Canvas 2.2, Canvas Ego, Canvas Doodle, Canvas 2 Plus, Canvas 2 and some un-identified smartphones. Samsung to bring more powerful Exynos-powered gadgets on Jan 7th

As the CES event gets closer, Samsung has prepared all itself and teased that it will be bringing more powerful Exynos-powered gadgets this coming year. Nokia Moneypenny image leaked, hinted as "dual-SIM" device

Nokia has been in rumor land floating around to be expected to soon release a "dual-SIM" device which would be the successor of Lumia 620 running on Windows Phone 8. This rumor is almost close to reality by an leaked image from the notorious Evleaks confirming that Nokia is indeed going to release a dual-SIM Windows Phone device officially by end of this year (or) early next year. The leaked image from Evleaks suggests that the device will be supporting 3G networks on both SIM slots. Now this is the rare case, we actually see only 3G support on SIM 1 and 2G support on SIM 2 but the leaked image shows Nokia Moneypenny having 3G network support on both SIM slots. Judging from the image and from the rumors, this Nokia's device Moneypenny is likely to be named as Lumia 630. Nothing more is yet known about this device but soon we will see this device in market. Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 to get Android 4.4 KitKat in late January

French carrier SFR has just released details on up-coming Android 4.4 KitKat firmware update to the Samsung's Galaxy S4 and Note 3 by end of the January. Though Samsung hasn't uttered a word about the firmware update officially, the carrier SFR confirms that the Android 4.4 KitKat will be coming to Galaxy S4 and Note 3 by end of January (or) early November. Global rollout will be close to this time frame. Android 4.4 KitKat is already seeding to Non-GPE devices and GPE devices too adding Samsung to the last one in the list but not the least on the list to update their devices to latest firmware. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now seeding to Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra

Sony has officially started seeding Android 4.3 Jelly bean to it's Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra but the Android 4.4 KitKat is said to arrive as soon as possible. Google has been working on a new update which fixes the bugs and errors in the KitKat firmware and is now released to HTC One, LG G Pad 8.3 GPE as Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Windows Phone 8.1 Blue Update to bring On-screen nav buttons

Sony's press conference confirmed, scheduled for January 6th

As the New Year's Eve gets closer with time and celebration and the of course the CES event, Sony is all set for it's press conference which is scheduled just before a day of CES event on January 7th (i.e Jan 6th). The Sony Press Conference will be held on Jan 6th at LVCC (Las Vegas Convention Centre) starting from 5PM Local Time and will be running up for 45 minutes. Sony has listed a total of 15 device categories, including tablets, netbooks, photography equipment and accessories, e-books, 3D video, portable and high-performance audio. SteamOS will be available for download on December 13th

Valve announced that they will be shipping a prototype Steam machine to it's 300 lucky fans on December 13th which includes a powerful upgradable chassis, steam controller and the Linus-based SteamOS. The rest of the fans will get a consolation price. However, Valve will also make SteamOS available to all users for download and give it a try when the prototypes ship. While the company suggests that the new operating system won't necessarily be easy to install — "unless you're an intrepid Linux hacker already, we're going to recommend that you wait until later in 2014 to try it out," says Valve. The company also said that the lucky 300 winn ers will be notified via E-mail's later today at around 5PM EST (3:30 AM IST). Microsoft is considering Windows Phone and Windows RT for free to device makers

Microsoft has been experiencing a low market share in all global markets against Android and iOS but now Microsoft is considering Windows Phone and Windows RT versions for free to device makers to come-up and give it's OS market share for smartphone's a boost. According to sources familiar with this matter, free future versions are under serious consideration by OS Chief Terry Myerson.
