According to Xperia Blog, an alleged leaked documentations belonging to Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo confirmed the existence of Sony Xperia Z1 Mini dubbed as Xperia Z1 F (with some model number as - SO2F). From this documentation it's confirmed that Sony is indeed working on a Mini version of Xperia Z1 and it's far from it's release. The Documentations also revealed specifications of the device which perfectly align with previous leaks of the device. From documents - it will be featuring 4.3 inch FULL HD display, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked @ 2.2 GHz, 20.7 MP Rear camera (same as the Xperia Z1), 2,300 mAh battery and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It's dimensions are - 127 x 64.9 x 9.4 mm vs 144 x 74 x 8.5 mm. That's all we got for now . Sooner (or) later, Sony will be officially announcing it's Mini version of Xperia Z1. A week ago, Nokia Asha 500 has been seen which should be an upgraded version of Asha 501 with capability of dual-SIM, better designed, support for world's most popular messaging application - WhatsApp. Surprisingly, this Asha 502 looks exactly the same as Asha 500 . However, Asha 502 sports a camera with LED flash which was missing in the Asha 500 leaked image. For now, there's no words about it's specifications except dual-SIM functionality and Wi-Fi support. As far as it's software is concerned, it looks to be refreshed. As we mentioned, Asha 502 will be unveiled on October 22nd at Abu Dhabi along with 6 inch FULL HD Lumia 1520 phablet , Lumia 929 and Windows tablet. Less than a week after iOS 7 lockscreen vulnerability was discovered, Apple released an update to fix the problem. Released as iOS 7.0.2, the update is a small security patch addressing the issue. The iOS 7 lockscreen bug allowed users to bypass the iPhone lockscreen and gain access to messages, email, photos, and social networks. From the recent announcement of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for HTC One Dev Edition and HTC One original, HTC has officially released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean internationally. Recently, Nokia has posted it's scheduled event image on Facebook confirming that the event will take place in Abu Dhabi (Dubai) on October 22nd and the timings for it are yet to be confirmed. According to sources familiar with it said, Nokia is all set to launch a bunch of 6 new devices in which one of them will be 6 inch FULL HD Lumia 1520 and the other is Nokia Tablet. The other four devices will be a part of budget smartphones and Asha series. Lumia 1520 powered by Snapdragon 800 chipset, featuring 6 inch FULL HD display, 3 GB of RAM and 20 MP Pureview Rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens capable of FULL HD video recording/playback. Additionally, TheVerge reported that Nokia will be launch a "pretty special" accessory for it's device and No further details has been provided. A latest report from ETNews revealed that Samsung is going to introduce a whole new Galaxy F series alongside the Galaxy S series and the first device is slated for release early next year. If the report is to be believed, then the first F series device will be most likely named as Galaxy F featuring a Full metal body with updated design. The report also suggests that it will be powered by Octa-core Exynos processsor, 16 MP Rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). Jason Mackenzie, president at HTC America officially announced via Twitter that the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will hit HTC One Developer editions version starting from this week followed by Canadian HTC One owners by end of this month. In first tweet Jason didn't provided much information on when the Android 4.3 will be rolled out for HTC One Dev Edition and HTC One but in his second tweet he detailed it by revealing that the users will start getting it from this week. This device has been codenamed Kopina and comes with QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen. According to reports, HTC allegedly been working on a Octa-Core version of it's latest flagship HTC One. Additionally, there's also reports that this handset's body will be made of metallic and having 3 GB of RAM making it the most powerful Android OS based smartphone from HTC. The HTC One with Octa-core processor is also said to come with a couple of software tweaks. After the back image of Nokia Lumia 1520 has been leaked last week, now via courtesy of Evleaks we can now see it again as Lumia 929 (which is possibly a Verizon version only of Lumia 1520) for Verizon in rendered images. Reportedly, this handset will be launched on October 22nd as Lumia 929. However, reports suggests it to be the Verizon-only version of the most anticipated and rumored Nokia's Lumia 1520 6 inch FULL HD phablet. Blackberry Messenger (BBM) will be available for Android devices running Android 4.0 (or) above. For Apple, iPhone's running iOS 6 and iOS7. Blackberry Messenger (BBM) will be up for download for Android devices on Google Play Store and for iPhone's on Apple store beginning today from 2:00 PM (IST). As there are some fake apps on Google Play store fooling thousands of people, Blackberry has made a delay in releasing it's BBM for Android globally. One of them was named, ‘Blackberry Messenger BBM" and was downloaded by over 100,000 users until it was removed from the store. However, the official BBM app is only available in New Zealand for iPhone customers. Global roll out is underway. The first official photo of Nokia's upcoming Asha 500 has been leaked via courtesy of the most trusted leakier Evleaks. Other than a photo, there's no information regarding hardware and software in it. The phone is obviously a dual SIM version. However, we notice some changes, which Nokia has made in the design department of the phone. The form factor seems to be left intact, but as the photo shows, there's an interesting translucent effect around the outer edges of the Asha 500 . Nokia has officially tweeted on it's twitter account and announced it's upcoming event on October 22nd in Middle East. As always, Nokia didn't hinted anything about what's expected in their event but as we already know there has been Lumia 1520 leaked images previously surfacing all around the rumor mill. Huawei Ascend W3 has been in rumors land for some time now but now once again images of the third-generation Ascend W3 smartphone has been leaked confirming the presence of Yellow and Blue color variants. The leaked images show us the China Mobile branding on the back of the device, suggesting that the yellow variant might be exclusive to the Chinese carrier. The Ascend W3 will also support multiple LTE networks. The upcoming Windows Phone booting Huawei smartphone is rumored to sport a 4.5-inch display and measures of 132 x 67 x 10mm. It is also said that there's an 8 megapixel shooter at the back, capable of shooting FullHD videos. There is no official word from Huawei at the moment, but the company is expected to showcase its latest smartphone at CES 2014.
